Nicola Benedetti leads the Benedetti Foundation Orchestra in ‘Intermezzo’ from the opera Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Mascagni in this trailer from her charitable foundation, Benedetti Foundation. 

The orchestra comprises musicians who have taken part in The Benedetti Sessions orchestral workshops taking place this year around the UK; the ‘Intermezzo’ is one of the featured pieces at these workshop. A recording of the work - Benedetti’s first with the orchestra - is released on Decca Classics.
