The annual Cremona Musica International Exhibitions and Festival will be held from 26 to 28 September 2025 at Cremona Fiere. The event is dedicated to high-end musical instruments, with a schedule of events, award ceremonies, cultural meetings and presentations of important new developments in music.

We’ll be at Stand 269 for the three days, where you’ll find our exclusive range of books, including Trade Secrets 1-6, Great Instruments 1, 2 & 3, In Focus 1 & 2, Masterclass: Violin Concertos, and our new publication, Masterclass Volume 2: Violin works.

We’ve loved meeting you at past events, so do come and say hi to our team!

Additionally, a number of events and live concerts will be held throughout the event at Cremona Fiere, as well as further afield in Cremona itself. The violinist Midori will be honoured at the Cremona Musica Awards ceremony on Friday 26 September at the Stradivari Room.
Throughout the weekend, Pavilion 1 will host the ‘Music is our life’ exhibition, featuring ethnic instruments from around the world from the collection of Bruno Brunetti. Violinist Luca Fanfoni will explore the rediscovered unpublished caprices by Paganini from 4-5pm in the Media Lounge, while violinist Marco Rogliano and pianist Chiara Cipelli will perform works by Giuseppe Austri, ’Paganini’s forgotten successor,’ at 5pm in the Monteverdi Room.
Cremona’s Museo del Violino will host the Cremona Musica gala evening ‘Music Made in Italy’ at 9pm on Saturday 27 September, with performances in the museum’s G. Arvedi Auditorium.
For those in town before Cremona Musica officially starts on Thursday 25 September, the museum will host the Friends of Stradivari meeting to honour the late Charles Beare - one of the world’s most renowned violin experts to which we paid tribute in The Strad July 2025 issue. Cellist Paolo Tedesco, a student at the Stauffer Academy, will perform on the Stradivari ‘Stauffer, Cristiani’ cello, which the museum purchased thanks to the advice of Beare. He will be joined by the Stauffer Cello Quartet in the free concert.
Luthier, composer and cellist Nicola Segatta will present ‘From Wood to Score’ - guiding audiences through the process of transforming a piece of wood into a piece of music. This will take place at 10am on Sunday 28 September.
Check out a list of events here and plan your trip - though be prepared to have to make some tough choices!
