Jung-A Kim joins the roster for general management

IMG Artists has announced the signing of South Korean cellist Jung-A Kim to its roster for general management. The agency said: ’We look forward to nurturing and guiding this remarkable talent as she embarks on her musical career.’
Kim said: ’I am so happy and grateful to be joining IMG Artists. I love discovering new things through music, meeting people and learning from every experience. I am deeply grateful to my teachers, professor Kangho Lee and professor Noll Park, for always guiding, supporting, and encouraging me.’
Kim also thanked the agency and her artist manager, Agnieszka Mikus. ’I am excited to see where this journey takes me, and I hope to share many special musical moments with audiences around the world.’
The 14-year-old cellist became the youngest-ever first prizewinner of the Young Tchaikovsky International Competition cello in 2023, aged eleven. She won first prize at the Classic Cello International Competition in April 2026.
Kim made her debut at the age of ten in the Kumho Prodigy Concert Series. She has appeared as soloist with the KBS Symphony Orchestra, Korean Chamber Orchestra, and Moscow State Symphony Orchestra.
Her international engagements have included performances with Junge Koreanische Virtuosen in Germany, K-Classic Genius Concert in Belgium, and the International Chamber Music Festival in Shanghai.
