Violinist Francesca Dego performs Bach’s monumental ‘Chaconne’ from Partita no.2 in D minor for solo violin, BWV 1004. The performance was recorded at ConcertLab – a purpose-built studio dedicated to fine arts music.

Featuring an illuminated, resonating stage with adjustable acoustics, it boasts the world’s only silent indoor drone camera, which allows ConcertLab to create high-end, minimalist films.

It combines old with new; based in a 16th-century monument in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the new space offers musicians unprecedented artistic freedom.

ConcertLab features artists from a range of genres, spanning classical, jazz, folk, art song, and experimental electro-acoustic. More performances can be found on its YouTube page here.

Dego has enjoyed an international solo career, featuring appearances with orchestras in North America, Asia, Australasia, Europe and the UK. She will be resident at Wigmore Hall in the 2026-27 season, where she will perform in chamber music and in recital with world premieres of two new works composed for her.
