Watch violinist Jinjoo Cho perform an extract from a transcription of the aria Mon Cœur s’ouvre à ta voix from the opera Samson and Delilah, by Saint-Saëns. Cho performs with the ensemble Appassionato, conducted by former violist of Quatuor Ebène, Mathieu Herzog.
Cho is a former first prize winner of the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, the Concours Musical International de Montréal as well as the Buenos Aires, Schoenfeld, and Stulberg Competitions. She performs internationally and as assistant professor of violin at Schulich School of Music at McGill University.
