The ensemble joins the roster for management and touring representation, having spent nearly 15 years with Martha Woods of Jonathan Wentworth Associates

General Arts Touring of New York has announced the signing of the Dalí Quartet to its roster for management and touring representation.
The Dalí Quartet has been widely recognised for championing Latin American string quartet repertoire alongside the great Classical and Romantic traditions. Founded in Philadelphia, the Dalí Quartet comprises Ari Isaacman-Beck and Carlos Rubio, violins; Adriana Linares, viola; and Jesús Morales, cello.
The Dalí Quartet joins the General Arts Touring roster as its long-time manager, Martha Woods of Jonathan Wentworth Associates, prepares for retirement after nearly 50 years of distinguished service to the performing arts industry.
The Dalí Quartet reflected on its transition: ’For the past 15 years, it has been a true pleasure to work with Martha Woods and her team at Jonathan Wentworth Associates. Martha’s dedication, warmth, and steadfast support have meant so much to us throughout an important chapter of our artistic journey, and we wish her a wonderful retirement.
’As we celebrate Martha’s remarkable career, we are thrilled to begin this new chapter with Tom Gallant and the team at General Arts Touring. We look forward to sharing time-honored string quartet repertoire alongside new discoveries from the Americas.’
Tom Gallant, director of General Arts Touring, also said he was ‘thrilled’ to welcome the members of the quartet to the roster. ’Their extraordinary artistry, commitment to Latin American music, and innovative programming make them a perfect addition to our roster. We look forward to helping expand their touring opportunities in the years ahead.
Recent and upcoming highlights for the ensemble include appearances at the Banff International String Quartet Festival, Virginia Arts Festival, Princeton University Summer Chamber Concerts, Dumbarton Concerts, and Maverick Concerts; the East Coast premiere of Anna Clyne’s Quarter Days, Concerto for String Quartet and Chamber Orchestra, co-commissioned by the Harrisburg Symphony; and the world premiere of a new work by Roydon Tse for string quartet and full orchestra with the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.
