Patricia K. Johnson, "Senior Director of Communications and Marketing," sent an email to alumni saying "we request that you refrain from discussing this matter publicly, online, or on social media." Really? How could anyone become a Communications Director and not understand that telling a group of people not to discuss something on social media is a guarantee that it will be discussed on social media!

If Mr. Diaz is serious about correcting the situation, the first step is to fire Ms. Johnson and anyone who directed her to send such a ridiculous email.
