I completely agree with Itzack Perlman. I played several times this concert and there always something new in each time I played this concert.
And definitely is not a concert to play without warming up a little bit. I know that because the last time I played I got a bit of traffic on the way to the concert hall. The concert was at 7.00pm and I arrived at the concert hall at 6.30pm. I just had time to change clothes and went to the stage. It's not comfortable at all. I think that each violin player has "his concert" and Tchaikovsky violin concerto is "my" violin concerto.
