The Moldovan-born violinist gave this recital with pianist Joonas Ahonen at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival & Academy on August 15th.
The programme included Webern’s 4 Pieces for Violin and Piano, Op. 7; Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 9 in A Major, Op. 47 ‘Kreutzer Sonata’; and John Cage’s Nocturne.
