Members of the Yehudi Menuhin School (YMS) orchestra perform this arrangement of It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, arranged by student James Marshall, who also features as a solo violinist alongside fellow pupil, Sasha.

‘It has been a very enjoyable experience arranging and then rehearsing It’s the Most Wonderful time of the Year,’ said Marshall ’It is an homage to our founder, Lord Menuhin, who is my biggest inspiration, and to the jazz violinist Stéphane Grappelli with whom Menuhin famously collaborated to the delight of audiences around the world. I don’t think they ever did a Christmas number together, so perhaps now is the time - the most wonderful time!’
