The German musician announced his withdrawal on his Facebook page

David Garrett has pulled out of his forthcoming appearance at this year's BBC Proms in the Park in London. The German violinist failed to outline the reasons for his withdrawal from the September concert; instead his team published the following message on his Facebook page:

‘Dear Fans!  Unfortunately, due to various reasons, David is no longer performing at Proms in the Park in September. However, he hopes to come over to the UK in the near future! We are sorry!’

2015's Proms in the Park takes place on 12 September in Hyde Park and features performances by the BBC Concert Orchestra, soprano Danielle de Niese, Dutch singer Caro Emerald, trumpeter Alison Balsom, tenor Russell Watson and The Jacksons.
