Violinist Megan Shung improvises on the video conferencing platform
In this video the Taiwanese-American multigenre violinist Megan Shung leads an experiment where a string quartet in four different locations performs an improvisation together over Zoom, embracing, as Shung calls it, ‘the change and the imperfection of the internet connection.’
Performed on Zoom and recorded individually on 9 May 2020 in San Pedro, Long Beach, Idyllwild, and Altadena, California.
