Commissioned by the Kronos Quartet, this work is written for three quartets but can be played, as in this video, with one live group and two pre-recorded ones.
The musicians are Benedict Holland and Sophie Rosa, violins, Heather Wallington, viola, and Jennifer Langridge, cello.
