Having already delivered over sixty $500 grants, Project 80/90 - the initiative founded by double bassists Gary Karr and François Rabbath to help double bassists in need due to the global pandemic - is reopening for a second round of grant applications, thanks to a gift of $50,000 from Gary Karr.

Bassists in need of assistance are invited to apply for a $500 USD grant. Although the project has been delivered with the help of the International Society of Bassists, ISB membership is not required by those applying for a grant. Those who previously received a Project 80/90 grant and are still in need are welcome to reapply. The names of those receiving Project 80/90 grants will not be published.
