Cremona musical calendar disrupted as a result of the ongoing coronavirus crisis
A number of events in the Cremona musical calendar have been postponed in response to the coronavirus crisis. These include the Monteverdi Festival, which was to take place in May, but is now being reorganized for September, with no definite dates yet available. Another is the Vivaldi violins exhibit - originally scheduled for 16 May - which has been postponed, possibly until late June or July.
Organisers of the Summerfestival are still considering whether to go ahead with the festival in July.
Subscribers to The Strad will receive a Cremona brochure with the April issue, which comes out tomorrow.
