A cello belonging to Baroque specialist Kevin Bourdat was stolen from the Paris-Le Mans train yesterday afternoon.
Bourdat was on the 15:06 train from Paris Montparnasse and has posted that the instrument was taken somewhere between Rambouillet and Le Mans.
The instrument build by Parisian luthier Charles Coquet in 2012.
The instrument was stolen from a stationary train due to depart for Germany
