New Zealand violinist Amalia Hall has join the roster of Emblem Artists. On social media, the Australian management agency said: 

’Emblem Artists is looking forward to representing Amalia’s established international profile and cultivating new opportunities as a concerto soloist, and also as a brilliant recitalist and chamber musician.’

Hall is both a soloist and chamber musician hailing from New Zealand. She is the violinist of the NZTrio. 

The violinist is an alumnus of the Curtis Institute of Music, where she studied with Pamela Frank and Joseph Silverstein. She is a laureate of several international competitions including the Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition, International Violin Competition ‘Premio R. Lipizer’, International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians and the Kloster Schöntal International Violin Competition. 

As a soloist, she has appeared with orchestras including NDR Radiophilharmonie, United Strings of Europe, Vallejo Symphony, Brno Philharmonic Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, among others.

She has worked with conductors such as Benjamin Northey, Eivind Aadland, James Judd, Gábor Káli, Christoph Altstaedt, Douglas Boyd, Tobias Ringborg, Tianyi Lu and Christopher Dragon.

She currently plays on the c.1700 Vincenzo Rugeri ‘Baron Knoop’ violin on loan from a private benefactor.
