Violinist Hana Chang joins Harrison Parrott roster

Violinist Hana Chang has been added to Harrison Parrott’s roster for general management. 

Berlin-based Chang currently studies with Christian Tetzlaff at the Kronberg Academy. She also recieves mentorship from Janine Jansen, with whom she previously studied in Sion, Switzerland. She is a BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and Borletti Buitoni Trust Fellowship recipient.

Her 2026/27 season will include performances with the BBC Philharmonic, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich under Marin Alsop. She will also make her debut at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival with the Odense Symphony Orchestra, and give recitals and chamber music performances at venues including the Vienna Musikverein and Konzerthaus, and Wigmore Hall.

She has also previously appeared with orchestras such as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, SWR Stuttgart, Stuttgart Philharmonic, Bremer Philharmoniker, Prague Radio Symphony and Utah Symphony.

Chang is a laureate of the Stuttgart International Violin Competition, Yehudi Menuhin International Competition, Prague Spring Competition, Louis Spohr Competition and more. In 2024, she was a laureate at the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition.

As a chamber musician, she has collaborated with Janine Jansen, Sol Gabetta, Daniel Müller-Schott, Dénes Várjon, Amihai Grosz, Till Fellner, Nikola Meeuwsen, Elisabeth Brauß and Julia Hagen. She has played at festivals including the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, International Chamber Music Festival Utrecht, Solsberg Festival, Heidelberger Frühling, Rheingau Musik Festival, Vevey Spring Classic Festival and Sion Festival.
