The latest addition to German manufacturer Pirastro’s Evah Pirazzi range is a low C string for five-string violins. Like all Evah Pirazzi strings, it has a multifilament synthetic-fibre core intended to give additional projection, while its special tungsten–steel winding has been engineered to create a balanced sound with the other strings in the range.
