Maxim Vengerov performs Ernst's The Last Rose of Summer on a Guarneri del Gesù c.1740 violin, previously played by Hungarian violinist and conductor Sándor Végh.

The instrument will be loaned to the winner of the 2016 Menuhin Competition Junior Category for two years by Florian Leonhard Fine Violins.
