The agency said it was ‘honoured’ to sign the multifaceted violinist-violist to its roster

Nordic Artists Management has announced the signing of violinist-violist Yura Lee. Described as ’a truly multifaceted musician,’ the agency said ’we are honoured that she has chosen to partner with us as she embarks on the next chapter of her musical journey.’
Equally virtuosic on violin and viola, Lee has enjoyed a career as a soloist and chamber musician, covering genres from baroque to modern, performing to audiences worldwide.
She has appeared with major orchestras in New York, Chicago, Baltimore, Cleveland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, and given recitals at Wigmore Hall, Musikverein, Mozarteum, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels, and the Concertgebouw.
Lee has earned top prizes for both violin and viola in competitions such as the Mozart, Indianapolis, Hannover, Kreisler, Bashmet and Paganini. In 2013, she was the only first prizewinner across four categories at the 2013 ARD Competition.
Lee received the Debut Artist of the Year prize aged twelve at the ‘Performance Today’ awards given by National Public Radio. She is a recipient of the Avery Fisher Career Grant, and her CD Mozart in Paris with Reinhard Goebel and the Bayerische Kammerphilharmonie received the Diapason d’Or Award in France.
Lee is a member of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York City, as both violinist and violist. She is also a member of the Boston Chamber Music Society. She regularly takes part in the Marlboro Festival, Salzburg Festival, Verbier Festival, La Jolla SummerFest, Seattle Festival, Caramoor Festival, Ravinia Festival, Kronberg Festival, Aspen Music Festival, among many others.
She holds the Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld Endowed Chair at University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music.
