The ensemble joins the Italian agency’s roster, in collaboration with Impresariat Simmenauer

The Italian artist agency Toret Artist Management has announced the signing of the Schumann Quartet to its roster, in collaboration with Impresariat Simmenauer.
’We look forward to supporting the quartet’s artistic journey and to sharing many inspiring projects in the years ahead,’ the agency said on social media. ’Welcome to the Toret family!’
The ensemble joins the Toret roster, which also represents violinist Maxim Vengerov, Veronika Eberle, Michael Baremboim, Marco Rizzi and Stephen Waarts; cellists Abel Selaocoe, Enrico Dindo, Gautier Capuçon, Andrei Ioniță and Caterina Isaia; plus ensembles including Brooklyn Rider, Trio Quarta-Dindo-De Maria and Quartetto Noûs.
The Schumann Quartet comprises brothers Mark, Erik and Ken Schumann, along with violist Matthew McDowell. Highlights of its 2025/26 season included appearances at Musikverein Vienna, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Cologne Philharmonie and Konzerthaus Dortmund, as well as invitations to renowned festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Mozartfest Bath and the Heidelberger Frühling String Quartet Festival.
Major projects include the third edition of Expedition Mozart with Kit Armstrong, featuring performances in Salzburg and La Chaux-de-Fonds, and a chamber music tour with Lisa Batiashvili in the summer of 2026.
The quartet also regularly collaborates with distinguished artists including Andreas Ottensamer, Anna-Lucia Richter, Sabine Meyer, Katharina Konradi, Sharon Kam and Alexey Stadler.
