Askonas Holt has announced the addition of Time For Three to its roster for booking in Europe, South America and Asia, in cooperation with its general management Park Avenue Artists.

The trio, comprising violinists Charles Yang and Nick Kendall, and bassist Ranaan Meyer, looks forward to a new collaboration this summer with opera singer Joyce DiDonato and composer Kevin Puts. Emily – No Prisoner Be is a 24-part song cycle based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson, and will premiere at the Bregenz Festival this August, with international tours in the following years in collaboration with Askonas Holt.

Time For Three has collaborated with numerous contemporary composers, including Puts and Jennifer Higdon, leading to its Grammy-winning album Letters for the Future.

The ensemble’s most recent collaboration – a concerto written for them by Mason Bates – premiered last March and will see future performances with San Francisco Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Louisville Orchestra, among others.
