The group had already been under Sarah Dinin’s management for its East Coast bookings

Dinin Arts has announced that the Galvin Cello Quartet has joined its roster. The group had already worked with Sarah Dinin for its East Coast bookings since July 2025. On social media, the management firm said:
’Dinin Arts is overjoyed to share the news that the Galvin Cello Quartet has joined our roster! Founded at Northwestern’s Bienen School — where Director Sarah Dinin is also an alum — the Galvins have taken the chamber music world by storm through their luscious performances and vivacious spirit. After having the pleasure of getting to know and work with them this past year, we are thrilled to welcome them to Dinin Arts!’
The members of the quartet, hailing from Brazil, South Korea and the US, met as students in the studio of pedagogue Hans Jørgen Jensen at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music. The ensemble takes its name from the Mary B. Galvin Recital Hall. The quartet comprises cellists Sydney Lee, Haddon Kay, Luiz Fernando Venturelli and James Baik.
The group won the silver medal at the 2021 Fischoff Competition before going onto win the 2022 Victor Elmaleh Competition. They have performed at major venues and festivals across the US, with recent highlights including at the Rockport Music Festival, Bravo! Vail, Ravinia, Ascent International Cello Festival, Merkin Hall and Newport Classical.
