Collège Saint Martin in Angers, France is hosting an exhibition of instruments from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, plus contemporary examples, until 4 January 2015. The 'Vibrations and Resonances' collection is aimed at introducing people in the region to the 'vitality of the violin' and also involves local violin and bow makers. The display features lutes, mandolins, guitars and hurdy gurdies alongside violins, cellos and basses.
