The maker presents her workshop in the bustling capital

I’ve been based in this building in central Amsterdam since 2022, when the bow maker Basil de Visser closed his shop down in order to move his business to Italy. He hoped to pass on the shop to someone else in the instrument trade, so I was able to take it over without too much difficulty. Before that I had a studio on the other side of the city, in a building with a lot of different artists and artisans.
