Spanish violinist María Dueñas, 20, has won the Princess of Girona Arts and Letters Award, worth €20,000. The award is given by Spain’s Princess of Girona Foundation annually to a young Spanish national working in the arts. Dueñas plays on a Nicolò Gagliano violin from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben and the 1710 ‘Duc de Camposelice’ Stradivari from the Nippon Music Foundation…
