With 2020 marking the centenary of Isaac Stern’s birth, Carnegie Hall dedicates its 2019–2020 season in the violinist’s honour. This video, introducing the celebrations, pays tribute to the violinist and activist; as well as his tireless work in saving Carnegie Hall from demolition in 1960.
The live performance was filmed at LSO St Luke’s in 2025, celebrating the composer’s 90th anniversary
The work features on The Bridgetower Project, which aims to highlight the legacy of Afro-European violin virtuoso George Bridgetower.
