You hear that? It's the world's tiniest violin playing for you'

Fans of the mock sympathy gesture of rubbing thumb and index finger together can now actually hear the instrument playing thanks to a new gadget from Design I/O which controls volume and playback through gesture alone.

The device uses technology from Google’s Project Soli - a tiny radar on a chip designed for touchless interactions - in combination with the Wekinator - machine learning software intended for artists and musicians.
