At the Primrose International Viola Competition in Los Angeles, CA, US, 24-year-old American violist Natalie Loughran took the $15,000 first prize, the prize for best performance of a work by a BIPOC composer, and the audience prize. She currently studies at the Juilliard School with Roger Tapping and Misha Amory.
