The Meadowmount School of Music in NY, US, has awarded its second annual Gurrena Fellowship, worth $50,000, to Brazilian cellist Luiz Fernando Venturelli, 23. The Fellowship’s support includes housing allowances, artist management, concert engagements and collaborations with the Meadowmount faculty. Venturelli is a graduate of Northwestern University and has performed as a soloist throughout South America…
