Competition results

Moldovan violinist Lilia Pocitari, 25, has won the top prize of €22,000 at the Bartók World Competition in Budapest, Hungary. She also won the €2,000 prize for best performance of the compulsory contemporary piece. Second prize and €14,000 went to Japanese violinist Tomotaka Seki, 25, while third prize and €8,000 went to German–Polish–Japanese violinist Maya Alexandra Kasprzak, 17…
