Lisa Ji Eun Kim

Lisa Ji Eun Kim is to join the violin ranks of the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO) from the beginning of the 2017-18 season on 22 September.

Kim, who is currently serving as a second violinist with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, has previously performed as a BSO substitute player at the orchestra's Symphony Hall and Tanglewood summer residence during 2015 and 2016. She also took part in the BSO's European Festivals Tour during August and September 2015.

A graduate of the Juilliard School in New York, where she studied under Hyo Kang and David Chan, Kim was a member of the New World Symphony from 2013 to 2016.
