Over the weekend of 24 - 26 September, the Benedetti Foundation welcomed 125 young string players ages 6-18 to its first in-person sessions since March 2020. In this video, participants and tutors perform a multi-level arrangement of Geminiani’s La Folia, written specially by the Ayoub Sisters to encompass all levels of playing from beginner to advanced.

Filmed at Saffron Hall, Essex, this video is a culmination of the weekend’s session work, where participants enjoyed coaching from specialist tutors, including baroque specialists Margaret Faultless (violin), Oliver Wilson (viola), Clifton Harrison (viola), Elizabeth Kenny (lute) and David Watkin, who conducted the performance.
