A distinctive double bass with a removable neck, stored in a black soft case, is believed to have been stolen from the Tottenham Hale, Seven Sisters or Lea River area between 10 and 17 September
Double bassist Jerrell Jackson has reported the theft of his double bass in the Tottenham Hale area, north London.
Jackson said his double bass was stolen from his boat, which was moored near Markfield Park, between 10 and 17 September 2026.
The double bass was contained in a black Mooradian soft case with backpack straps. The instrument is a copy of an Italian ‘Cavallini Model’ with a removable neck and a cutaway solo fingerboard.
It is constructed of loft seasoned European wood; spruce top and poplar back and ribs.
