The Mahler Chamber Orchestra (MCO) has been loaned a Stradivari for use by the orchestra's concertmaster. The 1723 violin, which belongs to an anonymous group of heirs, was presented to the concertmaster, Gregory Ahss, by the MCO Foundation during the Lucerne Festival, where the orchestra is currently in residence.
