  • Hello, everyone. I dedicate myself to violin making as an amateur. I am not inclined to make comments in general and above all I do not like to stand out. However, this time, I must say that my scale of preferences coincided with that of Tarisio except that I prefer the 5th to the 4th: the violin of Guarneri father over the Guadagnini of the period of Parma. For this reason I must say without false humility that having identified in violin no. 1 the best violin (for me, of course), tells me that I am on the right track. In fact violin 1 Guarneri del Gesù, is the one that to a great richness and complexity of harmonics also adds power and balance bass / treble. Even string A is not deaf but dense. Ciao to everyone.
