Mentored in her early years by Anne-Sophie Mutter, Norwegian violinist Vilde Frang went on to study in Hamburg with Kolja Blacher (a former student of Dorothy DeLay) and with Ana Chumachenco at the Kronberg Academy.

As a recording artist she has won several prizes including Echo Klassik awards and a Diapason d’Or. Frang was appointed professor at Oslo’s Norwegian Academy of Music in 2017.
