It's been a few years since star violinist Joshua Bell performed Bach incognito in a Washington DC metro station - an experiment organised by the Washington Post to discover 'in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognise the talent in an unexpected context?'

Given that most of the rushed commuters ignored Bell, one has to wonder how many other things we are missing?
