A once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity for a professional violinist who’s passionate about the future of music education and ready to make an impact on the global learning community

tonebase is the leading platform for classical music education online. Our mission is to democratise access to high-quality music education, allowing everyone to learn from and be inspired by the best.

Across the Classical Guitar and Classical Piano platforms, we work with Grammy Award-winners like Emanuel Ax, Sharon Isbin, Garrick Ohlsson, and David Russell; icons of their instruments like Leon Fleisher and Leo Brouwer, and over 200 other world-class musicians and professors from top institutions like Curtis, Juilliard, Yale School of Music, Mozarteum Salzburg, New England Conservatory, Colburn, and many more.

Just four years after launching in classical guitar, the company expanded into piano, raised $4.5m in venture capital, and has grown its subscriber base to nearly 10,000 learners.

Our goal is to become the leading resource for music learning across all instruments and genres online. The next step on that path is to bring the experience and value we’re providing to classical guitar and piano learners to violinists worldwide.

To spearhead this endeavour, we are looking for a Head of Violin to join the team.

Building alongside highly talented, intelligent, and passionate musicians, developers, designers, and creatives, you’ll be responsible for the development of tonebase Violin and help actively shape the company’s future.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity for any professional violinist who’s passionate about making an impact on the industry and the learning community as a whole in a meaningful way.

The opportunities for musical expansion and business growth are endless, and we are only getting started on our multi-decade-long journey to becoming the number one resource for online creative education.

If you are passionate about the future of music education and consider yourself a curious, driven, and wildly ambitious music professional ready to make an impact on the global learning community while having the time of your life doing so, we want to hear from you!
