The Divertimento in F is to be auctioned next week by J.A. Stargardt at the Kempinski Hotel Bristol

An autograph manuscript by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is to be a auctioned next week by J.A. Stargardt at the Kempinski Hotel Bristol in Berlin.

The Divertimento in F for two horns, violin, viola and bass was composed in Salzburg in 1776 and comprises 77 bars. The manuscript was last auctioned in 1934 and is estimated to be worth €300,000.

Taking place on March 14 and 15 the auction also includes scores by Beethoven, Haydn, Chopin and Schubert, alongside letters by Friedrich Schiller, Immanuel Kant and Salvador Dalí.
