Mutiny on Ryanair

Should musicians take airlines on directly, asks Ariane Todes

Monday, 07 February 2011

I see that a hundred Belgian students were ‘removed’ from a Ryanair flight from the Canary Islands when they refused to comply with staff in protest against excess baggage charges, according to a BBC story.

Is such positive action the way forward for the campaign for instruments on planes?

Or a sure way for musicians to end up in trouble. Or Lanzarote…

It would take a brave campaigner, either way.
