The company plans to move the ensemble 'further into popular culture on a global scale'
The London Philharmonic Orchestra has signed to Sunshine – an agency with offices in London and Los Angeles which aims to ‘transform businesses through the power of entertainment and popular culture’.
According to The Drum, Sunshine hopes to move the orchestra ‘further into popular culture on a global scale’ by ‘introducing it to new audiences and showcasing the transformative power of orchestral music.’
‘We were bowled away by Sunshine’s enthusiasm for what the London Philharmonic is today, distilling the essence of what is special and unique about the orchestra and creating a vision for how we can communicate this to the world,’ said LPO chief executive and artistic director Timothy Walker.
Among Sunshine’s clients are The Roald Dahl Literary Estate, BBC Three, BBC Worldwide, Gucci and Google.
