Great teachers on film: Leonard Rose

Cellist Leonard Rose (1918-1984) was famous for having had a deep burnished tone and was naturally gifted in left-hand technique. This 1978 film, edited for viewing by Steven Honigberg, documents Rose’s teaching theories for posterity.
