Spanish pianist and actor Mario Marzo uses a Halo Sport brain stimulating device to boost the results of his practice with seemingly impressive results.

The headphones use 'Neuropriming' to stimulate the brain during athletic training 'to improve strength, skill, explosiveness, and endurance'. Although designed for athletes, Marzo demonstrates that the impact for musicians could be equally great.

During the experiment he practises two Bach preludes - one using the device, the other without.

He also invites cellist and 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition finalist Pablo Ferrández to try the headphones:

'There were times when I saw myself more precisely,' says the cellist. 'It was as if I was taking less time to accomplish something. I think this could be something really interesting'.
